Open Road
Road to Monument Valley
I remembered seeing these distant rock formations on an old Russ Meyer film poster from the 60s.
I pulled up on the side of the road, surveyed the scene, decided on the stock, took the light readings, and set the camera up.
The sunlight was variable here. When I saw the distant formation go black it sort of made the picture. It emphasised a focal point in the distance.
