Artesia by Night
After my 90 mile drive down an unpaved road in a regular car (not 4WD), I hit the blacktop again. This brought me to a town called Artesia, a city of about 11000 people in Eastern New Mexico. It was early evening when I passed through and the Christmas lights were in full flow. I knew that I wanted to have a go at a timed exposure but I was tired and continued to drive on through the town towards Roswell. About two miles the other side, I had another of those "you'll always regret at least not having a go at a shot" moments, so I turned round and headed back into town.
