Sunrise
I wanted to get a shot of the sun rising over Roswell but couldn't find a suitable location. I always maintain that if you pass up an opportunity in one place, another one presents itself in another place. About 20 miles outside of Roswell heading East is a place called Oasis which is basically a disused petrol station and a collapsed wooden building.
When I arrived, the sun had risen but was still giving off a very reddish pink light. The Fuji film preserved this unique light which had disappeared about 5 minutes later.
As always on the images on this site, there is no post production 'enhancement' or tweaks other than the removal of a few spots and hairs on the scans. The colours on this picture are as they are on the transparency, which is faithful to how they were on the day.
